Perfected Optics

The CWR-F2R shield system of the X-Fifteen has greatly improved the upper and lateral fields of vision, and the DKS-304 PINLOCK EVO lens system has enhanced the lateral field of vision by moving pins outside the eyeport. The new CWR-F2R shield system offers improved visibility, functionality, and performance compared to its predecessor while also safeguarding against 99% of harmful UV rays. On an interesting note the CWR-F2R is also able to be used on the RF-1400, so you're able to swap on from the other. The X-Fifteen is fitted with an exclusive two-stage shield locking system and a novel trigger lock mechanism that offers optimal protection against unanticipated shield releases during falls. Moreover, the base plate system has been revamped entirely, enabling smoother shield openings and closures.

Luxurious Comfort

The X-Fifteen also features a completely removable, adjustable, washable, and replaceable 3D Max-Dry Custom Interior System II. This unique interior system absorbs and dissipates moisture and sweat twice as quickly as conventional nylon interiors. The innovative cheek pad cooling system channels air through the EPS liner and strategically placed foam air holes, delivering refreshing air to the rider's cheek area.

Performance Cooling

The X-Fifteen's ventilation performance was a crucial feature during its design. SHOEI's in-house wind tunnel testing revealed optimal airflow in multiple riding positions, especially in the tucked racing position.The X-Fifteen features seven closable air intakes and six exhaust outlets strategically shaped to maximize airflow and negative air pressure suction. The EPS tunnels have been enlarged from 6mm to 10mm in depth, dramatically increasing cool-air volume and the rate of hot-air expulsion. The innovative cheek pad cooling system has also been improved by increasing the number of holes delivering refreshing air to the rider's cheek area, working in harmony with exhaust outlets to clear warm, humid air from the rider's face with even greater efficiency. The X-Fifteen's ventilation performance is truly on another level.
