Shoei Neotec 3 Modular Helmet
Design
Making the surfaces adjacent to the face cover into side covers eliminates any gap between the rear of the face cover base and the shell, creating a seamless design. The NEOTEC 3 is designed with a simple yet sporty feel, with the face cover and parts connecting seamlessly with the shell, creating a sense of unity. Repeated wind tunnel tests were conducted to improve sealing performance, especially important for a system helmet with a movable face cover.
Interior
The rear edge of the cheek pads extends further toward the back of the helmet to cover more of the gap around your neck, preventing wind from entering from the bottom. Newly designed interior components improve fit and comfort. The cheek pads have an extended design to reduce the gap around the neck and feature a noise isolator at the bottom of the chin. The center pad for the top of the head has a pocket design for adjustment. The interior surface uses a hybrid combination of materials for moisture absorption and comfort.
Ventilation
Improved ventilation provides greater comfort in various riding environments. Upper air intake and lower air intake with defogger function enhance airflow and reduce stuffiness in hot weather.
Defroster Filter
The defogger is fitted with a removable filter to prevent insects and dirt from entering through the lower air intake hole.
Face Cover
The redesigned face cover can be secured easily with its locking mechanism. It features an eccentric rotation axis and a metal lock mechanism for secure closure.
Shield System
The shield locking mechanism ensures retention, and the specialized shield system provides outstanding sealing and rigidity. The CNS-3C shield system features a center locking mechanism and ribs for increased rigidity. A gear fixes the shield at a slightly opened position for improved ventilation.
Supports SHOEI COMLINK
The helmet supports SHOEI COMLINK communication systems with a redesigned attachment mechanism for seamless integration.
QSV-2 Sun Visor
The QSV-2 sun visor offers wider coverage and quick adaptation to changing light conditions, with strong wire for smooth operation.
Safety
The helmet features a shock-absorbent shell, EPS liner system with multiple densities, mist-retardant visor, stainless steel Micro Ratchet System, and DOT homologation.
Comfort
Comfort features include a 3D center pad, detachable and washable pads, ear pads, and included accessories like Pinlock sheet, Breath Guard, Chin Curtain, and Shoei Comlink system.
Ventilation
Multiple venting and extraction points, closable inlets on brow and chin, insect filter, and rear outlets contribute to increased airflow.
Aerodynamics
Integrated spoiler and wind tunnel engineered aerodynamics ensure seamless design and optimal performance.
